On Tuesday night, the Golden State Warriors star earned Sundance Film Festival recognition when “The Baddest Speech Writer of All,” a short film he co-produced and co-directed, captured the Grand Jury Prize at the festival’s short film awards in Park City, Utah.

Lyric Hammersmith Theatre has unveiled the complete ensemble for the U.K. premiere of “Jaja’s African Hair Braiding,” the Tony Award-winning Broadway comedy that will run at the London venue from March 18 through April 25.

The Baddest Speech Writer of All — a short film co-directed and produced by Curry and directed by two-time Oscar winner Ben Proudfoot — picked up the grand jury prize Tuesday night during the festival’s short film awards ceremony and party in Park City, Utah.

Winners will be announced at the PGA’s awards ceremony on Feb. 28 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Century City.
